Islamic centers are not for praying only, they are also the warfare centers for Jihad when the time comes. You can clearly tell by the design of this monstrosity that there is a tactical architecture to the intended construction.
Consider the aesthetics, geometry, and even "window" placement. They are all of a military persuasion. Mosques and Islamic centers are Houses of Jihad. They will become base camps for Allah's warriors when the violent and bloody part of the Jihad begins in earnest.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) supports this endeavor. When CAIR is involved in a Muslim construction project, it is always stealth Jihad. Islam is not here to be peaceful and assimilate. The Muslim hoards are are here to destroy the country, subjugate all the non-believers, and ultimately annihilate the infidel when the time is right.
The entire taqiyya (lying for Allah) strategy is based around keeping everyone under the delusion that there is no Jihad and Islam is about peace.
